Flexsteel is continually finding new, innovative ways to connect with its retailers—whether in-person or virtually. Recently, they decided to their keep their showroom open year-round for both live and virtual tours.

“The world is changing, and the time is right to leverage the tremendous effort and investment that goes into preparing this great space for each Market event, says David Crimmins, Flexsteel’s Vice President of Sales.“ Our showroom has been 100% built-out and open full time ever since last September. Many of our retailers have joined us for both live and virtual showroom tours in the time between then and now. Our retailers tell us they really like having the flexibility.”

Capturing the Power of Personal Interaction and Year-Round Availability

Flexsteel knows from experience that keeping their showroom open full time provides an opportunity for more personal interaction with retailers and buyers. Even conducting virtual tours has proven to be a hit. To accommodate these, Flexsteel has invested in equipment and staff to ensure an exceptional experience. For those who want to attend in person, private appointments are available any time. Also, Flexsteel’s participation in “First Tuesday” events, where other manufacturers and suppliers open their showrooms the first Tuesday of every month, makes it easy for retailers to consolidate their visits with the brands they sell in a single trip to High Point.

Showing Off a New Entrance

Visitors to the Flexsteel showroom can now enjoy a stunning new entrance to the 65,000 square-foot High Point showroom. Flexsteel also intends to use the space for supplier meetings, training programs, and for special events throughout the year.
